What I would like to see in Character Creation

Being able to trade emotes would be amazing. The male Miqo'te emotes are mostly too assertive looking for my tastes. I see my character as more on the shy side, and I wish his motions could reflect that.

It shouldn't be tied to character creator, though, unless you can access it through the aesthetician. It would suck to have to use a fantasia just to change mood.

Hmmm I dunno.. Hairstyles I was in favor of. Hempen sets I was in favor of. Racial sets I was in favor of. But emotes seem like a little... too much? Unlike a hairstyle or a tank top emotes are make sense being completely tied to race. Not only that, I also agree that it would be too much work. Like, that would be a looooong list of emotes. Like /wave1-14. If we are taking genders into account too. That's every emote 14 times on the list.

I would agree to this however if there were mixed race options however. A Hyur/Miqo'te mix could have a mix of both Hyur/Miqo'te emotes. I'm okay with that.

Rather then emotes, I'd just like to see the character creation system expanded as a whole.
More of every option (face, eye, tail, ears etc)
More detail (Au'Ra Horn seperate from face, highlander can have eyebrows, sliders for hips etc)
Cross tribe traits (Iris types, ear types, colours, can be used by both)

You only use emotes sometimes, you use your characters appearance 100% of the time.

I agree customization needs flushed out however emotes seem the best option to me. When u put on a helm u never see the face but u can notice body movements. More emote options help to flush out personality more than the eyes hidden behind masks and helm. I personally would like just emote sets rather than individual emotes but if they added the option i know id take my time picking them but id be satisfied with sets. I also like the idea of mixed races but not emotes based on races. People are more than their race the way people move varies person to person not race to race

We arent getting a new race. And at this point it is too late to come with suggestions for Stormblood launch content.

I hope we wont ever see cross bred races. Why even have different races if everyones going to be a mongrel anyway.

The latest animations added have all been similar for each race, so i dont see SE making older emotes available for all, with a few exceptions of course. As for Highlander animations on a midlander? Its easy, as they share the exact same skeleton for animation rig. So its literally just adding a new number to the list. For other races it wouldnt be that easy as it would require refitting for all races with their diffrent arm lengths, proportions etc.

I would only one race be an option for "half breed"/ "mongrel" choice.

As it already exist in the game, I would like it as a sub race for an existing option. They could even use the same emotes as the main race they branched off from for all i care.
Besides it's not like it would be the first time this sub race was introduced in the FF series.
