When I see these party finders, all I see is "I'm getting the bird if one drops, doubt we'll even see multiple birds, but that's your problem suckers."
Am I alone here ?

Nope. I see them all the time, nothing wrong with it if everyone in the party is aware of the rules and agree to it.
Granted I admit the last place person is boned if servers drop or if everyone bails or just stops. However I have joined one and we had no issue for all 8
I'm just not sure how the parties even get full, because the likelihood of 8 birds dropping in one group is extremely low. Just seems counter productive to everyone except the party leader. A lot of people have very rose colored glasses I guess.
Do you think that 8th person would join if the PF said: "First 7 birds reserved, after that FFA" It's really just kind of silly when you think about it.

Makes me laugh when they are missing the last person forever.
No. Never.
Maybe weapon lootmaster if I'm bored.
Anything nidhogg and below maybe but gl with gettingg 8 ppl their bird for sophia and zurvan.
I don't bother with lootmaster groups with people I don't know. There's simply no reason whatsoever for me to trust the party leader.
I've warned people in Novice Network and my linkshells about these parties. Complete trap parties. Who is honestly going to trust a group of seven randoms to stay for every single person to stick around with such a horrendous drop rate? There is no accountability to be had in Cross Server PF.

Some people just want the weapon, and or totems and seeing a primarily "bird" farm gives a pug group slightly more credibility than the typical farm parties.
Not saying it's right, just pointing why someone would join a group like that
