I Found That: Botanist V - Is this intended?

Not sure if they've fixed that, but shards/crystals/polycrystals are only counted once, if I remember correctly - as in: if you have discovered them with your miner, you cant discover them again as a new item with your botanist. So it could be possible that your miner got up to 18 "lowlevel" items extra that your botanist didnt.

Thank you. This is what I was wondering. Because there's over 270 items in botanist's list. Seems unlikely you'd not hit the 230 if there wasn't something wrong.

It's sad but i believe that's false, Vidu. My mining is 0, and everything i have gathered has originally come from botany, and im stuck at 229 myself. Not sure how this is possible to get the achievement without getting triple stars.

Glad to see I'm not alone. I counted up the items in BTN's list and it was something like 277. It still doesn't seem right even if some items are shared.

In the same boat, once I get my last book I'll be at 229/230. On my miner I got it with at least a one star item left to spare and all the three stars.
