After seeing all the keynote stuff, it's really looking like just another copy and paste job with beast tribes, their unique primal and Omega being the CoB/Alexander. I'm pretty disappointed.

Can't say for certain yet, but I'm starting to think we are in for another Heavenward. Since we've received no details on anything actually important regarding the expansion yet, I'm not getting my hopes up. At this point all we know is existing jobs will be adjusted, but not to what extent, and hey are looking at adding more challenging content. Nothing I've come across has touched on the mind numbing tombstone system for gear acquisition, or changes to gear progression pacing.
Basically the things we've heard nothing about are the factors which will determine if I even get Stormblood.
Unfortunately, I am thinking they are leaving the language of the "battle revamp" vague to keep players' hopes up that we might get a shorter GCD and more fluid battle than the clunky mess that it is now. Many of my friends that try this game just can't stay into it because of how slow the combat feels and said they would definitely stay if that was changed, but I'm thinking it's just going to be pruning of useless abilities and adjustments to current ones. That's basically my last bastion of hope for anything that I can look forward to in Stormblood.. everything else is just the same thing with a new ribbon tied on it. =/
Yea I doubt they will shake the game up too much form what it is now, some new content will be added but the core of the game will stay the same.
