Is DPS'ing as a Healer Vote Kickable?

This may come across as sarcastic, but just because you got the memo doesn't mean everyone else did.

For what it's worth, I've never kicked a ZDPS healer. What you call policing and bossy micromanaging may be a tad more grand in your head than an actual situation that takes place. Random party doesn't mean that you're playing with people who can never have a clue. People don't get better when nobody tells them they have somewhere to improve and they've never paid mind to alternatives.

Part of being a part of an MMO means you're part of a community whether you like to admit it or not, which means you are actively shaping it along with everyone else. Unlike you, I believe in the potential of the playerbase- I believe it to be higher than bare minimum of Regen, stand in everything and live anyways and single target DPSing on a pack of 8 mobs. If actively hoping to raise the bar is Bossy Policing then sure, call it what you will, but your "bads will be bads will be bads and don't bother trying to help" mentality might tickle your Free Country bone, but it certainly isn't helping the games community in the long run.

Besides, at the end of the day all I can offer is advice and reasoning. I can't be policing nothin' if they don't want to get better so no skin off their back anyways.

You're putting a whole lot of words in my mouth. I never referred to anyone as bads, nor did I say helping was undesirable. If people ask for help, I will offer what assistance I can. If people need to improve something so we can clear the content, I will politely address the issue. What I am not going to do is provide unsolicited and antagonistic criticism because someone is doing something I don't like, but that quite frankly just isn't a big deal. That just leads to a negative and stressful environment for everyone without effecting the desired result.

I think this is where our opinions diverge at it's core. I don't feel like offered advice is antagonistic. Some people get offended easily sure, but what is a community without a few hot heads?

It's actually false equivalency. Other roles are not healer roles. Tanks are almost forced to do damage in most cases in order to fulfill their "primary" role.

Incorrect. If the tank needs it, they screwed up their own cd rotation. Apoc is really just used to cover a weakened healer/dps from an unavoidable AoE.

That is when you are wrong.
It does help when used on a weakness player, but if no one have weakness then it is better used on tank rather than having it unused at all.

If a tank needs Apoc, then they need to RE-examine their CD rotation. Otherwise it's just useless and excessive mitigation that would've been better spent dealing more dps, since even a half second delay in the gcd is a dps loss.
