DEV REQEST - Horses

Would you mind if it was literally the GC/Primal horse without it's effects and gear? I imagine they could whip that mount out in lightning speed lol. Just take the existing horse textures and add like three different color palettes lol. Dark Brown / Black horse is pretty much already done.

I don't really know about the horse lore or w.e but it seems like depending on what you wanted these would actually be pretty cost effective mounts seeing as they already have a bunch of small variant resources to pull from.

Personally I would like to see more chocobo stuff rather than "new different mounts", so I can understand wanting variants of existing stuff lol. Really wanted to raise AND ride my own chocobo, maybe give it extra fluffly hair :3, perhaps in the future - GS version wasn't really what I thought it'd be (races only, no taking care of it, etc).. thought it'd be an improved FFXI.

16 out of 71 listed mounts are horses. (Comparatively, only 9 out of the 71 are chocobos, and this is a Final Fantasy game.)

I'm not SE of course.. but that sounds incredibly simple request, for mounts at least. Your suggestion to just toss them into an NPC seems fitting too then. If the One Eye wants they can make a short quest to unlock the vendor for lore or w.e, but yeah.. at least in terms of models thats like.. almost done for them lol.

Sounds good to me at least. I expect to see you riding off into the sunset when I login though, majestic steed, glasses tip and all :3

I don't see this happening mainly because it wouldn't be flyable and they seem to only be doing flyable mounts.

If added I'll dress like a cowboy and do just that.

Again it is mindblowing to me to read the post histories of those shooting this idea down. Good reads lol.

I'd love a plain saddled horse mount. Throw in a variety of colours/patterns to toggle, too.

Also, perhaps a Shetland or Falabella for all races, not just giving Lala characters the mini one. Tiny horse breeds are the best.

I wish SE had never added any horse-like mounts. Don't belong in FF.

Dragons, Ariman, Goobue... sure. But I thought it was so stupid when they added the first unicorn mount. So please SE, don't add more.
