DEV REQEST - Horses

I disagree - please SE, no more horse mounts! This is Final Fantasy, not My Little Pony - we're meant to have chocobos not horses! If anything we need more chocobos! They're the very mascot of Square Enix and the FF series after all!

Besides, the game's lore states that horses aren't even native to Eorzea but only found in the Far East - hence most of the 'horse' type mounts already in the game are just aetheric constructs (like the Primal horses and Slepinir). The only actual living horse mounts available in the game is the PvP GC Warhorse (which if I remember rightly was specifically imported into Eorzea from Othard) and the quested unicorn that was used as an incentive for players to level CNJ, so that makes it pretty clear horses are very rare in Eorzea, if virtually unheard of.

Again, I'm really sorry if I seem harsh but I guess it just seems to me that there has been a little too many horse type mounts added to the game since launch at the expense of other mounts, particularly ones more traditional to the FF series itself.

Yeah there are, I'm looking for one that isnt all grand company'ed up or mechanical. I'm really surprised at the negitive reaction to such a simple request.

I know they can be jerks, but I still would like a non-mutant horse.

That's awfully specific, especially when we already have a bunch of horse mounts, as OP mentioned. The GC horses are already very plain and "normal," not particularly flashy at all. He probably should invest in those.

I'd personally prefer more mount model variation before we go back to horses.

Yeah, but the GC horses are GC'd up. And covered in armor. I think what he wants is a hornless unicorn with a regular saddle on it.

We have magitech reapers, dragons, dandelion puffs, soon a cloud, a mog strapped to a porch swing, eagles, flying boats, heads, a yokai, a broom, a mi i airship, and a dining room chair. We are not lacking in diverse mounts. And I don't want to "invest" in a gc horse, what I would like added is a plain horse. But I guess....
