None.
I need my glamour prisms..

wehn we are going into stormblood ill let you know. that is still half a year away. my number will be very different by then.

I have a tendency to spend my money a lot, so I won't be surprised if I don't even make it into 4.0 with half a million gil.

"Gil is useless anyway". I hear that all the time, but strangely only ever from the people who have so much they never have to worry about it running out
I don't hear it from the friend who got super excited when he found a vacant housing spot, than had to watch someone else take it because he couldn't pay the initial price without the reduction that comes with time. I don't hear it from my glamour enthusiastic friends who longingly have to stare at the things they'd actually like to wear for months while instead having to wear something they hate because they can't afford said glamour, or from the one who tries to collect all minions in existence (even the merchandise ones) and who could never get the Diadem falcon that cost 120 mio before the last got bought and now it's unobtainable.
Not trying to start a fight or anything xD
It's just...that sounds a lot like really rich people in real life who say "Oh, having money is meaningless, it can't buy you happiness anyways." While any poor person would love to tell them that their life would be a whole lot greater if they actually could afford a warm jacket in winter, and would not have to go beg their landlord to not kick them out every month because payment on rent is late, or how amazing it would be to have food all throughout the month instead of just water for the last week, how much easier jobhunting would be if they could afford a phone, etc., etc...^^
And yes, I understand that having 20 apples when the most I could ever need for my apple pie recipe is 3 makes the other 17 pointless, but telling "having apples is meaningless" to the one who has none and could REALLY use 3 apples right now for his recipe is kinda...you know?xD

@Atolli
I agree, because I do it all the time. I never have to worry about Gil running out because it's literally enough to last me for years, and even now, it keeps increasing. Also, not to sound like a negative nancy, but it's normally the hyur characters I see it from. (Myself included)
So yes, you are absolutely right about everything you said. Gil is far from useless, and I doubt anyone can go a week with 0 Gil in their account, it's not logical.

By the end of the month, I will be starting with gearing up my crafting and gathering classes, so I think by the time Stormblood releases, this gif will answer your question for you.

About 7.8 million... Only because I've been leveling all my crafting and gathering classes at once, so I spend next to no gil on mats making all sales purely profit. The occasional expensive venture reward helps too.
"Ul'dah can keep their dusty markets, and their streets paved in silver and gold.
Limsa Lominsa keep your pirates, and your ships covered in musty mold.
My loyalty lies with Gridania, with the Moogles and the tree spirits of old." -The Forky Conjurer

Enough?
Like 18 mill on my main, 9 mill on my first alt, 2 mill on my second and third alt, then only like 400k on the others.
I really just try to avoid spending it, so it slowly accumulates.

About 800k, but I really have no reason to make gil.
I own 3 houses (actually 4 ATM, but an ALT owns it and I'm letting it go for 1 lucky random that notices there's a house up for grabs- the goblet really has poor large house scenic views :<). I have all the glamour I currently like (sans the Native American regalia). What's the point in hoarding it other than for the sake of hoarding it and 'what if...?'
