Do you think better character customization will be revealed at Fan Fest?

I'm not so sure if it'll happen, but I would love for it to. What about all of you? Do you think it will be revealed? I'm sure they are planning something at the last Fan Fest to make the crowd go wild.

Honestly, I kinda doubt it, because that would be something you'd want to secretly tease in the gameplay videos of swimming and whatnot to increase speculation and hype. You know, show off something currently not possible/available to make the crowd go:"Wait, what was that?!" and then do the usual troll.

I would love that more. Especially if they use an Au Ra face and horn combo that's not available.

PS3 support ends when the patch 4.0 is released. That was stated at the last fanfest. As for new races, wasnt that answered in a live letter?

More options. Like you only have four faces right now, and probably specifically relating to OP would be a lot more hair choices :P

Also @OP I think more options would be awesome, I'm just not sure they'll do it.. Imo it would be pretty cool to see a sculptor like you'd see in Bethesda games and some recent Korean MMOs (with "face" options like we have now for those who want a base model to work off, or just don't want to sculpt at all).

I've always wondered how bad the sculpting settings affected areas full of people (in terms of server/client load).

Of course we'll need a really nice export feature if they add sculpting, so you could ask someone for their ears (lol) or their whole face at your choice and not by force (perhaps one big fat code for sharing, but the importer is more featured).

Although I imagine getting that sort of customization around/if they added interbreeding. Like a Spore character creator (you have so many points to spend, and certain items cost a certain amount of points.. so you'd naturally develop your blood %, 50% Miqote, 20% Au Ra, etc etc).

The PS3 and Race bullet in OP is not the speculative bit, it's the new options part that was. We do know PS3 support is ending and that they have at least said there wont be a new race (could have always said something to throw people off, but they've at least said there wont be).

I think people pinning any hopes on this whatsoever are setting themselves up to be sorely disappointed. Still, I can always dream.... though I wonder what could possibly be added that would make me change any one of my characters at this point.

We cant even have two different dyes on one piece of gear due to server load and rendering issues with Yoshi even joking "we need ps5 to do that" so i will have to gently, but firmly, shoot your idea of moulding character faces to the ground.
