Mini Market Board Housing Item?

There are two things that I personally believe would make housing infinitely better (not that it's bad now, just saying better).

1) Allow us to zone in/out and login/out of our houses. But that's not the thread topic since I have another post out there for this. For those who didn't know, we used to have this feature and it got pulled. Word on the street was that people were glitching OOB in the houses and they pulled it.

2) A mini market board would be awesome. Like a bulletin board, but with MB access. That way I don't have to leave the house for mats, queuing, can just sit back, relax, and enjoy Twilight over Thanalan in my own house (or the FC house).

The first reply is probably going to be, "No, that will ruin the game. Nobody will leave their houses" or "That's what killed WoW". Yeah, I doubt that's true. People want to flaunt their mounts and RP too much in Idyllshire for that. Not to mention, people still need to hunt/fate/etc.


PS: Don't tell the rest of the forum, but I'd pay for it in the cash shop. Mentioning cash shop is a trigger.

I guarantee you 90% of the server wouldn't stay in their houses. They'd be out in the yards, Idyllshire, Limsa (which I still think is bizarre; why there?), and other places.

That cause 90% of the server don't have their own house with the current set up anyways.

Well, I would certainly use housing more often if this were a thing. And I believe an interview debunked it for the same reasons Lexia mentioned.

So why not? We have indoor summoning bells too even though the housing wards and cities have them all over. It would be convenient to have a MB next to an indoor materia melder and vendors.

Not if you on Balmung, all apartments are sold out there.

People frequent Limsa cause it is the only main city with the marketboard right next to the aetheryte. You don't need to change zones like in Gridania or Ul'dah.

Quality of Life is usually unnecessary, doesn't matter the degree of necessity anyways.
