    How to make Leve's Better.

I personally really enjoyed the idea of Leves ever since seeing them in the cinematic, although, we all know the reality is very different.

Whilst I understand Leves/Questing (Especially Leves) were more of the vision of the original FFXIV, they could still be improved to be worth while.

Currently, Leve XP doesn't compare to Party or PL exp, making them only useful source of leveling when a party cannot be found.

The item rewards do not compare to what you could easily gather within the same amount of time.

Company Leves give almost no Seals for the time/effort involved.

So unfortunately, the only leves that seem to be worth doing are crafting leves.

I have some suggestions off the top of my head, as to how the whole leve experience could be improved:
    • Adjust rewards to reflect time/difficulty (eg 15 Min Leve Defense with rubbish rewards)
    • Make the final mob interesting (eg unique mob with unique abilities instead of a couple of imps that are exactly the same model, same skin and with the same abilities as all other imps)
    • Chance! - Chance to obtain rare item/mob obtained only through leve
    • Allow guardian aspect for Faction Leve - All other classes are given the option to do this, Crafting shouldn't be discriminated.
    • Chocobo Race Leve - Chocobo Racing with items along the map to grant chocobo speed. (Like Chocobo Racing in FFX)
    • Golden Leves - After completing a certain amount of leves in one day/Randomly Generated, player is rewarded with a golden leve. Golden leve gives a large gil/xp/item bonus.
    • Dungeon Leves with variable rewards (EG Kill Ifrit within 12 minutes Reward = A Reward, Kill Ifrit Within 13 minutes - Reward = B)
    • Aerial Gathering Leves - Once Jump/Flying Mounts are introduced, some nodes are aerial and require jumping/flying to retrieve.
    • Item Required Crafting Leves - Can only create set item after learning the recipe first for crafting it for an NPC (Perhaps a Rare Leve?)

I believe that if some of these ideas were implemented, people would be less inclined to sit on 99 leves. Repeatable quests should be valuable even to classes that are maxed IMO.

How do you think the Leves could be improved?

Repeatable content that isn't mind numbingly repetitive? The mere thought of it is mind boggling.

Taking the leves out of this game while drastic, would be the only way the developers will ever make proper content for this game that isn't watered down to leve format.

I loved doing leves with my friends. It was fun at the lower levels to do the ones with 3 sheep at the end and try and take them down. While they are fun, there are many that are soooo repetitive it's stupid. I think we should have more of the faction leves that give random mobs like the Ixali and whatnot and also haveing some special mobs at the end. Great Idea.

As for crafting leves, can we get a better reward at the end? I know they are adding rewards based on quality (or if it's HQ) but will leves be able to be HQ?

1.) GuildLeve Chains: If a particular Leve sends you to a camp, upon completion of that Leve an NPC at that camp then offers you a related Leve that sends you to a Hamlet (or outpost or cave, etc.) which upon completion starts another Leve that sends you further into the wilderness, then eventually to another Aetherite Camp in a new zone. It may be too linear for some tastes but it would give the illusion of progress.

2.) GuildLeve Bonus Runs: If you complete a 1 Star Leve and qualify for the Early Completion Bonus, an NPC at the camp is so impressed that he/she offers you another run of the same Leve but at 2 Star level. If you get the Early Completion Bonus again, you get offered a 3 star repeat, all the way up to 5 stars. You would be allowed to group up with others to continue the chain.
Imagine peeps at camps shouting for groups instead of just soloing in silence.
