4 people is the max, not the minimum.

I'm not saying that it has to be done non-stop, I haven't had a group yet that didn't need to stop at some point because of someone's need to zzz.

Only a few of those groups actually got back together again on a subsequent day to continue our run though.

And only one group of players I met through using the PF actually attempted to do it multiple times. They were raiders though, and PotD wasn't their priority so they could only devote two evenings a week to PotD.

I was estimating the total time to complete for perspective. With the entire endeavor probably split between 2-3 irl days.


Personally, I think DF for this would be an absolute nightmare and wouldn't work at all w/o making changes to the content. Which again, is not what I'm saying I want. I feel like you're overlooking the some of the other benefits of PF... such as being able to state your intent and screen players for their schedules.

Oh my friends list is completely and utterly full. But trying to find three other people who can commit to the time needed and do so on a schedule that's convenient for everyone is harder than the actual DUNGEON ITSELF.

People constantly manage to find SEVEN other people for savage raids. What's so hard about three?

You may not need 4 people. but if you want the mount its stupid to go in with less than that. i originally tried solo WAR and died 110 due to an accident. there was no way i was going to get to 150+ though

Honestly, if you're in for the mount and not for the challenge that this content mainly is supposed to be, you might be better off with spending your time crafting and making the gil to buy it - last time I checked it was around 25 mil on my server, that would be somewhat between 10 and 20 3/4 star items to seel for me...

The most challenging part about getting to Floor 200 seems to be actually getting people together who have the time and availability in their schedule to align with all 4 to do it. I'm sure there are plenty who would really love to be able to tackle this challenge and most likely do have the skills for it, but don't have the people. I'm sure this must also be harder on people who want to clear it but may not be on a server that has active enough people for this sort of thing.

Last time i checked my server there were only 2 on there.... both for 150mil

Because you can change those people out at anytime and continue to progress to other floors for raids. It is better to keep the same people but the game doesn't force you to play with the same people to complete the content. There was an issue with finding static members on smaller servers that's why many people transferred servers. The new PF was designed to help people on smaller servers. Now you can make accross server statics. Unfortunately the PF doesn't help with POTD if you're on a small server.

Your progress in a savage raid isn't reset if you have to swap people in and out because they have other obligations. Also, you can die in a savage raid and not have to start from the Binding Coil of Bahamut turn 1.
