Somehow have a buff that I probably shouldn't have

Character: Nezumiko Amethyst

I seem to have gained a buff called "Repelling Spray" that says that it is countering all physical attacks. I at first thought that it wasn't really doing anything but then I checked the battle log, it seems that anyone that attacks me with a physical attack takes 1 damage each time. At this point I've had it for five days and didn't really think much about it, but then I saw this exchange (Names redacted as this is a public forum):

((Player A)) Everyone report Nezumiko Amethyst in Alliance C
((Player B)) ?
((Player A)) has a Repelling Spray buff active
((Player C)) Is he still cheating?
((Player A)) he's hacking
((Player C)) I reported him last night.

So if this is true it is an issue that people are concerned about and I probably shouldn't participate in PVP anymore until this is fixed.

Update: I feel really stupid. I still think the fact that I had it was a bug, but I simply right-clicked the icon and the buff wore off.
