Indepth battle system changes and direction of jobs from 60-70 would be most interesting. The only trailers really watched pre HW was job abilities trailer.
I would really like to hear we get some more non-dungeon/raid content. Eureka seems a good candidate for things like roaming Primals (like Odin) where you have to fight or really put effort into hiding from and slipping by. And in this environment letting some job traditions come back. I know gasp... skills and abilities not focused on endgame stuff, like A DRK with Fear status, or a WAR being able to swim faster, IDK. I guess I'm looking for the cookie cutter to be broken a bit.
You mean useless abilities? :P Aren't we supposed to be getting rid of those to deal with button bloat?
I'm saying abilities that have uses outside of what we call the endgame and content to use it in.
Its not all one or the other, we can have non-raid/trial content. There is no need to be insulting because you feel threatened by someone wanting something different from you. There is plenty of room for all of us buddy.
TBH I don't even care if raids keep the cool rewards. I just want something different to try out.
That'd be pretty neat to be honest. Imagine Summoners being able to bind Sprites out in the wild as non-combat pets/minions with a spell. Or Warriors being able to smash boulders to enter caves or such. Or Dragoons being able to jump onto ledges you can't reach otherwise. Elemental NPCs visible only to WHMs could provide some interesting dialogue. Same thing with hidden Voidsent NPCs for Black Mages. It'd even go with that idea of Blue Mages being a, 'Professor of Monsters,' without ruining the class if that was just non raid/trial content.
