1.0's Path Companions returning as an alternative to Chocobo Companions!
For that matter, bring back the Path of the Twelve itself! The Scions of the Seventh Dawn are pretty much decimated as an organization now anyway, better to just write the whole thing off now and go back to the Path of the Twelve as a hidden under-the-radar Echo-research guild
New glamour gear - more dresses, skirts and knee-length high-heeled boots for ladies, and some equivalent sharp outfits for the guys! (In particular, the 1600s style dresses and hennins the noble ladies of Ishgard wear made available I would so love to have as player gear!)
The railway in Thanalan as a form of transport between Ul'dah, the Goblet and Northern/Central Thanalan
The base classes actually being taken seriously and changed to be an alternative to Jobs in gameplay (and thus have base classes added to AST, MCH and DRK, plus SCH separated from ACN and given to a new base class, plus new Jobs like RDM given base classes as well - the whole Armoury System as it stands right now is so confused as to exactly what it is and what SE wants to do with it.)
More 1.0 music returning (particularly the original city, zone and battle themes and special themes like the Path Companion selection track Piece of Mind)

Oh I know the development team's standing on the issue, the problem is the whole thing has become very muddled by the development team tinkering with the Armoury System too much to the point it's losing it's very identity. Fundamentally there is nothing wrong with the Armoury System at it's core, which is the whole point I mentioned it - this thread's subject is "what would make you happy?" after all, and a change back to "base class upgrades to Job" for all new Jobs will give the Armoury System consistency again instead of all these muddled experiments would make me very happy. But of course it's highly unlikely that would ever happen. But I can still dream (hence the point of this thread).
