That's not going to happen and you know it. The PC only version of FFXIV flopped hard, and SE have seen the success and profit of FFXIV on multiple platforms including PlayStation. Fortunately SE are smart enough to learn the lesson that you are deliberately ignoring.I know this'll cause frictions but I wonder when they'll drop full console support or at least put them on seperate servers from PC as I feel it's not only affecting the games ability to progress performance wise but the community is seeming to be getting worse due to none typers its becoming wow with better graphics and I feel the consoles add a barrier between players and communication.
Cannot wait for them to push the 4.5 firmware so I can give this a try on my Pro. I'm hoping it helps in Idyll, especially when it rains. Its amazing a free MMO like ESO on PS4 has been patched for native 4k and HDR, yet it looks like were gonna be waiting til Stormblood to maybe get some sort of Pro patch. I'll take any increase in framerate I can get for now til that happens
The PC only version flopped because the game was running on the horribly unoptimized engine that powered FFXIII which was designed for linear level designs not open world maps. How can you sell a product to a market where the game is virtually impossible to run at a reasonable performance level? It wasn't even consistent at any point. We're not even getting into the plethora of other problems the game had outside of technical ones. That's not going to happen and you know it.
