have you try 72 players Frontline ps4 fps drop to 10 to 20 frame rateMy normal PS4 runs the game just fine, though I'm guessing for Stormblood they might be planning to up the ante a bit since PS3 is out of the loop, so getting a PS4 Pro might seem more appealing if it becomes apparent that the game is being held back a ton by limitations.
You have seen frame drops, game stutter, and overall performance drops with high volume player content. You may not think you have, but you either don't have the eye to see it, or you're feigning ignorance. It's not just a myth that the PS4 underperforms to its PC counterpart, it's a fact; and anything that'll give a 2~5% increase (I don't know what the actual numbers will be, don't quote me) will be an overall improvement.

Yeah, I didn't make it clear but I do know when the limitations of the system appear, which is why I mentioned the Hunts. I was saying that Frontlines doesn't slow down my game enough for it to actually matter. Point is, I'm not entirely sure that you would need to upgrade to Pro if you already have a PS4 in the game's current state, because it's not like when PS3 users couldn't even participate in Hunts/Odin because of the inability to even see the enemy. I never doubted that PS4 doesn't perform the same as this month's shiniest PC, but you don't actually need it to in order to enjoy the game.
