    Error 90002 only on one character.

    I have been experiencing Error 90002 for the past 12 hours or so after selecting a specific character to login. My friends were able to see my character login at the last log out location but with a red disconnect icon at the side.

    I am able to create new character in another server with the same account. I can also login to the same server on another account.

    Things I have done so far:

    Restarted the router / modem
    Restarted the computer
    Did a tracert back to the server and got the following results

    Contacted Support Desk and was told to wait for a few hours, contacted GM and was referred back to Support Desk. Contacted support desk again and was told the same thing but it has been over 10 hours.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Having the same problem here. Was running PotD wiht gud mates, when i suddenly "lost" connection
    now i cant get back in with my main. However, alts on the same sever cluster with the same accout can get in just fine. anyone else having this issue/gotten it fixed?

    @DeAura What I did was connect to a different network, ie phone's 4g or go to a friend house, login and teleport your character to another city and log back on. I did all sorts of things and that worked for me. Hope it did for you too! =)

    Hi

    I was having similar problem with you with difficulties to access my main char, while I can play on another server just fine.

    I takes around 2 months and cause me to lost a small house until the matter resolved.

    I believe the problem is on SE side and not yours because in my case, I can only play my main char again after patch 3.5 maintenance, while support desk still doesn't understand what happens to my char. They do offer me with 2 months gametime code for the inconvenience.
    At that time, we've done anything from changing ISP to having GMs move my char to another city with no result.

    If you browse older thread, there are similar case with you. Usually it takes quite a long time to resolved, and the player never get clear understanding of what causing the error and how to resolve it.

    I sincerely hope your's will resolve quickly.

    Thank you both. I went a little more extreme route, uninstalled and reinstalled the game. This did resolve the problem. If this happens again I will be sure to try other methods, such as the alternate network fix, bofre having to waste the night re downloading all those files again ^_^
