TBH I open Party Finder and see the same situation as OP mentioned.

Actually this issue could be resolved by the NPC party members system which mentioned in live letter previously (quoted below).
So one real player and 7 NPC who know the whole fight, no bonus and will not kick you for 3 strikes!


SE please implement it and also make it covers those outdated nobody cares "contents" before nobody left!

The fault lies in the incentive and it just isn't there. Wondrous Trials is as best a step we can get at this time. If you skew too much towards the old stuff, then people will just farm that content and speed people through.

I love Wondroud Trails but sadly it can't keep my favorite content Crystal Tower alive. It's dead even on reset....or maybe it's my date center.

A thing they could do is creating a "returning bonus".
You have a bonus when a first timer is in your party, great. But you could have a bonus if it's been more than a month since you did a specific duty.

You could also gain a second chance point for that because, one day, we'll run out of first timers.

For me it's Alexander normal mode.

I took a long break from FFXIV, and came back a few weeks ago. My LS/FC is pretty much dead, with mostly new members, and I can't find anyone to do Alex 5 to 8. I've been in Duty Finder for hours, nothing.
I tried my own Party Finder, no-one join...So I stuck because no-one wants to do this anymore.

They should add an extreme roulette that gives a good chunk of unlimited token and some limited token like 200 lore and 20 scripture (to help farm relic for exemple)
This roulette should contain older raid (coil T1-13, Alex Savage 1-9) and all extreme primal it could even have Alexander NM in it.
It would help fill the duty finder for those.
Right now, the only roulette with Coil and old extreme primal is the Mentor Roulette which doesn't give a lot of incentive to do it.

There is already an extreme roulette and without getting online to check I believe it gives 100 lore and like 30 or 40 scripture.

But putting in a roulette for content like coil, savage, older raids and extreme primals would be an idea with a tombs reward to help with farming tombs for the anima relic.

Ok my mistake, I'm tired and just came off a graveyard shift and only had ex roulette in my head lol. It is only the 2 latest dungeons doesn't matter how hard ppl find them they are still a high ilvl requirement.

They should come out with a raids roulette to cover raid content and with a tombs reward will get ppl running the old raids. As for the ex primals they should almost get covered in the trials roulette because they are still a trial.
