Error(17) When I Try to Log In to Main Character

Steps: I have tried verifying local files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, contacted customer support and did all of their recommended fixes (including port forwarding, and changing IE settings).
Error message that appeared: "An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV.(17)"

This character is my main character, I can log into old characters on other servers/worlds, I can even create a new character on the same server/world. But I want to play my main character. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I can login to the character on a friend's computer. Have moved the character configuration folder without success. Plugged computer directly into the modem.

Seems like there was an issue with the log file of my character, it wouldn't delete. After deleting all the files, and then renaming the folder, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and managed to get it working.
