Reason why have Bloodbath, Fight an Flight And Sheltron up all time kinda need to have them up moment you their up rest of your skills not so i wouldn't suggest putting your defensive cds in a combat macro

on page 1

Triangle - Rage of Halone

on page one you want to put combo finishers on Squire, Triangle and O so what will happen is

all this only 4 giving you more space to work with

you rapidly switch between page 1 and page 2. watch the cooldown dont spam the abilites wait GBC is finished their you go

if you see error messages it means you don't have the skills yet. most likely some of these skills by level15 and it should work proparly

pls do not macro your stun. its very important learn when how to stun on your character ability needs active . if your gonna make macro for lets make it let everyone know you party used your stun. or your using very important abilites. in fact i would make another Convalence macro to let your healer know its up.

I'm not hating on you. The reason you would want to avoid macros is to have more control and efficiency in your CD use and rotations. You need the control to adapt to different fights with different damage profiles. You also increase your Action Per Minute and DPS slightly because macros don't queue the abilities like they normally would. Here's a side by side example of MNK: https://youtu.be/czzLF4IfFaM?t=258

still use macros anyway. not all of them are bad onces i use don't slow me dont at all

People who are actually advanced don't use macros for their skills. PLD's gotta be the simplest and easiest tank to fit everything with extended crosshotbars. If I can find a way as WAR to play on a controller without the use of macros on my skills, so can you.

Just looking at the stuff you've lumped together in your macros... Just what. What if you want to hold on to a cooldown but still use your combos? What happens then? What if you want to use one cooldown and not the other? Where's all the fine control?

I mean, on a PS4 controller you have ridiculously easy access to 32 crossbar slots and almost as easy access to loads more with R1. Just learn to play the game as it was intended and don't cripple yourself with these.

Using macros on a PLD is limiting you too much. It's a really simple class and you shouldn't limit yourself so much, but stay flexibel to get the best out of your toolkit.

I made a thread on PLD macros recently, you can check it out. Although it really matters how you use your hotbars and extended hotbar. You can change a setting to access hotbar 2 by double tapping the right or left trigger, and also another hotbar by holding both triggers.

Macros will slow you down. ~.1 sec per skill doesn't seem like much. But 30 seconds of that is a GCD and over a 20 min fight, that's 10-12 skills.
