Something good about the game being at this state

The current state of the game is pretty stressing for everyone: people who don't like the game but still are playing because of their friends, people who are waiting for the game to ge better, people who enjoy some aspect of the game and are praying that they won't get scrapped...

But still I think there is something good about this: we are watching while the whole Eorzea is changing around us
I think this is an awesome experience that I've never had in any mmo I've played... You can sense the feeling of excitement in everyone when a new update approaches and after every patch you see everyone looking around for the changes...
I can imagine my character in a far future sitting in the Community building and saying to the new recruit "Aaaaw when I was a young adventurer I could smash spriggans with my bare foot" (ok maybe this was a bit too much -.-')

Also I love the fact that we have no clue on what we have to do (even if for a lot of people that's the main factor keeping them from playing ^^'). I can still remember my first party at Valkurm Dunes when I said "Ok let's grab everything that's moving and smash everything o/" and someone said "uhm... that's not how we do that >.>". In every mmo I've played I was always told what I had to do; now we are building our own strategies and people will be using them in the future... isn't this amazing?

    Is anybody feeling the same?

Yes, new MMO's are the best to be a part of from the start. If you can ignore all the haters, and not be too sad while people all around you keep leaving the undeveloped game. I like being in it from the start. So i can watch it unfold, while i enjoy my aspect of the gameplay.
Its going to be real fun once PS3 and Xbox get released and they come into a world full of abundance and flow, not knowing whats going on.
I enjoy crafting and supplying people with the gear they need. Its nice that theres 3 great aspects of this game. The Fighers, the crafters and the gatherers. Each to support each other.
I see this game blossoming into a great game.

I agree with you in this matter, except it being stressful... heehee! I'm just kinda going with the flow and letting the game evolve around me, so I'm not letting it get to me or let it stress me out. I honestly expected the first 6 months to a year to be filled with updates, changes, balancing, content being added etc.

Personally I have been enjoying the game, my shell has a way up making fun out of anything, but I can also see where we need improvements and continued addition of content. I do love seeing the game change around me, and I love seeing the outlines for the updates when they happen. It makes me very excited to talk about the stuff that will be added, and I love how much effort Yoshi-P and everyone else is putting into this game to turn it around.

While others coming in later might have it easier when they start because of the changes, we are the ones who would have shaped the world. We went though the changes and can be proud of every thing we did and every rank we got during this time because we got it the hard way when SP went up and down and we had to figure out where to go, how to do things etc...

It's a great feeling to watch this game become something new and better every month.

...and yes I'm a crafting addict. XD

Best thing has been the increased dev communication.
