FFXIV x Parasite Eve

I remebered this game. Never played it but a friend would tell me about it. Also knowing that a dlc outfit was available for lightning in Dissidia Duodecim, but looking at the outfit i would like to get it in game or a version of it. Maybe, maybe not? What does community think?

I'd be all for it but seeing as the game is rated M, I can't imagine what kind of cross over or event they could possibly due outside of just armor based around Aya's everyday wear which would be just basic "Todays fashion". As I recall from the games, she wore a T-shirt and jeans, a black dress and I think in 2 she had a jacket. Not really much else to go over I think. Unless were talking 3rd Birthday (honestly hated that) I think she had a wide variety of odd outfits which ultimately ended up looking like a bikini top and booty shorts cus they would tear.

Nintendo managed to work Solid Snake into Smash Bros just fine, I'm sure if SE wanted to do a cross-over event with Parasite Eve they could work it out. That said I don't think it'll happen either as their aren't nearly enough fantasy elements of FF type for it to work well.

An Aya outfit would be fine, but I feel that series is a bit too mature for a crossover or anything.

It's a wonderful game, but it will give you nightmares if you are less than capable of dealing with grotesque imagery.

This. While I personally don't think a direct reference (i.e, characters from Parasite Eve showing up in Eorzea) would work, I do think FFXIV would benefit from a questline with elements that are clear references to PE. Sort of like "PE, but adapted to the FFXIV mythos". We've already trudged into other tones with Hildybrand, Briarden and Edda, so I don't think it an impossibility.

No, like really it wouldn't work at all, and probably wouldn't even be legal since this game is rated T for teen. Play the game sometime and you'll understand why.

I guess you could glamour the Chinese cash shop dress with the garo gun for the Aya chapter 1 look. I remember that game, back in the days when Square wasn't scared to try new things and break out of the jrpg genre. Hell we rarely if ever see cross company collaborations anymore. Games like Parasite Eve 2 will just be a foot note in the history of gaming.
