Keep in mind that Duty Finder and Cross-server Party Finder (recent addition to PF) means your DF and PF will/can pull from everyone on your data center, rather than just your local server's population. Makes your server choice a little less detrimental to your queue times.

Your concern then is Datacenter, not specific server since instances are shared across datacenters. You can also do partyfinder across datacenters so if you don't want specifically to DF things you can always find people that way. The only benefit to a large server population these days is for hunts, FATEs and PotD.

That only in certain parts, and they seem to keep it pretty well contained. Not like it gushing all over no matter what zone you in.

Okay, so with what I'm wanting, RPing aside, Bulmung is the best server in terms of what I'm looking for, but would an EU DataCenter/Server be better?

Okay, so with Balmung being most populated in terms of end game and stuff, what about all around level spread? I don't wana be on a server that's straight end-gamers. I want a wide variety of levels.
