People are always blaming the Japanese for not offering an invite. So I ask, when was the last time you spotted a Japanese shout, spent the effort to figure out the jist of what they are wanting, and then offer your services? Hmm? Seriously... If you have never done this... then I see no reason why they should do same.

You see a Japanese shout... Do what you can to help.

To be fair that is exactly what I did but was met with my first ever "JP Only". Don't get me wrong I don't hold it against the guy for rejecting me and crushing my soul. I did take my time to translate the best I could and see that they were in fact forming a party at my level and in need of the class I was on so I sent a tell and not even a minute later "JP Only".

I'm sorry you ran into that.

Different people have different reasons for the things they do.
Not all players are the same, whether they be Japanese, North American, European, etc.
But people naturally generalize to make life's complexities more manageable.

Of course it's often best to just shrug it off because it's not personal, and move on... hoping for a better outcome the next time. Such is life no matter where we are or what we do.

People who discriminate against large swaths of the population are ultimately just hurting themselves, even though they may not realize it for a while.
