My point is i do not care if its because they hate me. Point is if they do not invite me i do not want to be on that server IF i have that choice. I will play no matter what they do TBH.
@Reinheart +1 for saying what I didn't want to.
Not to go on a tangent, but for those JP Players from the beginnings of FFXI, they were pretty blindsided by the presence of American players if memory serves right. Not that they had a bad impression from the get go of course.
I need to level up a bunch of classes, but I'm waiting for 1.20 with party search function. Shouting is somewhat random and unreliable way to find a party. :s
And my LS are all endgame, no one has level 15 classes anymore, so I'm betting on the party search of 1.20!![]()
LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
JP Players say "JP Only" for a number of reasons. I will name two.I guess hat im trying to say is why is it ok for JP players to do it but not ok for us to want Single speaking servers?
1.) They've had many bad experiences with NA players and want to avoid hassle.
2.) They simply don't want to deal with the English language, whether its because they feel its a hassle or they're intimidated by their inability to speak it.
If you go the Japanese section of the forums, one of the biggest if not biggest threads there is a discussion about the separation of servers the size of one of Jupiter's moons.
There are many Japanese players who want separate servers. There are also many Japanese players who enjoy the international atmosphere.
I AM NOT TRYING TO CONDONE THE JAPANESE PLAYERS USE OF THE PHRASE "JP Only"
I am simply trying to help you understand WHY they use the phrase.
Bottom Line:
You want separate servers, many of them also want separate servers, and there are people who disagree with that view point.
Does that help?
The difference between a server for one language rather than an international server is you may be turned down for language rather than "sorry, we don't need your class".omg forget it. If you think a server filled with english is the same as a server mixed then i can not go further. We must agree to disagree.
In the picture a couple of posts back here was DECLINED because of what he speaks. That does not happen on a single speaking server. If that it not clear then we will go arounf in circles and i can not cause im at work. (also the reason i type fast lol)
A person can be declined from a party for a plethora of reasons. No need to pick a battle with language. Just move on and look for another party.

So then if im reading correctly you are saying im right in feeling the way i feel. Just like JP is right in feeling the way they feel? If so we have no debate LMAO. Jp can have JP only thats fine as long as SE makes servers i can go to and not deal with it.JP Players say "JP Only" for a number of reasons. I will name two.

Call me crazy, but I don't think Reinheart is a magic 8-ball that can magically pool the minds of the US community and tell you why people are opposed to separate servers.
He is not suppose to. I know why it is. Its because you hate change. Look at my sig. People hate change. What i am getting at is you slamm me for liking an idea that SE brought up but you defend JP to the death even tho they are doing the same thing.
thats silly to me.
You always have the right to your opinion. You believe servers should be separate.
I on the other hand, and some other posters here, disagree with that view point. Simple as that.
Wow, why did you suddenly get so rude and put words in my mouth? That's disrespectful and was totally uncalled for.
I didnt think that was rude. I guess i should have said "people dont like change" and not "you"
But you are defending the JP lol
Anyway i did not mean to come off as rude sorry for that.
