Stormblood digital preorder limitations?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to purchase a copy of Stormblood Digital Collector's edition from the Square Enix store if my billing address is different from the region I bought it in?

My account is registered in the EU but my billing address is currently in Asia. That store for the HK/SG region doesn't have the Stormblood Digital Collector's edition.

Any suggestions/help? Thanks in advance!

Well I would think you could just buy it from the european store. I don't know how HK internet works, but can you not access the european store?

You can buy the game digitally on Amazon.com It wont be the collector's edition BUT the collector's edition can be purchased later through the Mog Station. You'll also still get the pre-order bonuses, amazon will send them in an email usually within a few days.

they gave you a link for the NA copy of Stormblood is why it's invalid because you ordered from Amazon.com which is american region, you should've ordered from Amazon UK, etc.

Just buy it from the store of the same region that you registered your FFXIV account with.

I am happy to tell you I was able to pre-order EU Stormblood Digital CE for PC from SE-EU Store. I live in Asia, but my account is EU. Using the account I registered on, I edited my address to reflect my actual address including country in the address field, then selected a country from the drop-down menu.

I placed my order on Jan. 27, 2017 and it was a breeze. I did not get stuck at any point, not even billing. Received my pre-order code instantaneously and redeemed. Waiting now for the early access code which is slated to be given out in February!

I typed out the responses I got from Support:

- "If what you need is a digital product please introduce any country from the list and your normal address and you will be able to buy the digital product. Make sure not to order any physical product as it would never be shipped."

- "No, does not matter the distance. It is a digital item." - when I asked about download issues.
