How do Au'ra hear?

Do their horns act like ears or do they have holes under their hair like lizards have on the side of their heads. I'm so confused.

No, the devs/lore actually outright stated at some point that their horns are auditory sensory organs, it wasn't speculation on their part.

Perhaps try perceiving them as not a human race with animal attributes but an actual evolutionary branch of their own? And really... just holes in their heads is more interesting than the horns themselves serving as an auditory sensor? ARE NARWHALS JUST NOT COOL ENOUGH NOW!?

Last I checked, humans don't hear through their non-existent horns.

Bone vibration through the horns. Humans actually have something similar, which is why we can hear our own voice so clearly when we speak, and why it sounds so different to us than to everyone who hears it the normal way. So then of course one could very easily make the argument that the would sounds slightly different to Au Ra than it does to everyone else.
