Very intriguing issue possible RMT related

I have stumbled on a player on my server, who in their search comment, proclaim they have 7 free companies, all following the name pokemon and some various word or letter, 3 of which are located in my free companies ward, with housing, 2 of the said free companies only have one member each, they have one battle class leveled to 25 and 26, one character has botany at level 17 and mining at 34, the other is only a 35 miner, they all have the same player retainer listed in their yard, upon doing a search for the main character, I was able to find out that they have all craft and gather classes at 60 and two battle classes at 60.

Also one of the player houses linked to this character sold a Pasissa housing skin on the MB for a single Gil, and no other transactions on my server have ever been recorded for that housing skin. Ironically, that player that bought the housing skin, is one of the sub charcters and free companies that this particular player owns. Checking their retainers, and all of them linked are to the main player, have multiple stacks of 99 dark matter clusters.

If this isn't the most obvious signs of RMT and botting, out in the open, I have no idea what would be.

It's not RMT, it's airships, you can have 4 airships for each fc house you hold, so people buy out cheap fc houses and make alts to hold them to have access to more airships.

These are houses and mansions, not the cottages. The houses the alts have, on Jenova run for 18 million last time they were demolished, one of them is the same plot I bought and the other is two plots up, and a mansion was 40. So off the bat, this player would have had to drop 76 million on housing just for airships? Not to mention purchasing the Piassa housing skin for 1 Gil on their alt is also very shady, as the housing skin could have been stored in fc storage, and removed by the alt, and used later, there should be no record of that skin being sold for 1 gil.

While it could be possible, I'm not seeing the truth in this.

Alimdia sounds 100% correct. They just have those FCs and Houses for the extra airships. They're an excellent source of money for very little effort. A little selfish of them seeing as how limited FC housing is but SE doesn't exactly seem to care if we own 1 or 25 houses on a single account.

Please keep in mind its not hard to get 18mil if you're a crafter. 18mil, sadly, is chump change now that our economy keeps inflating ( we have no gil sinks aside from housing )

78mil for airships isn't a bad deal sseing as you can make on average 500k-1mil everytime they come back if you're lucky. ( Airship Exclusive crafting mats, grade V materia )

EDIT: The Piassa Skin? They probably put it up on the MB to easily trade it their other character since we cannot mail our alts. It was an increadibly risky move to do this as someone could snag it before you logged back on, but its their chance to take. I've done stuff like this to trade with my alts.

I don't see any clear indication of how this involves RMT. Plenty of stuff to complain about with hogging housing resources, but nothing that proves RMT.

76 million gil is hardly anything in a low pop server, the economy in low pop server is very different from high pop and it's extremely easy to accumulate a billion gil if you care to try.

I hardly see how moving a paissa wall for 1 gil means rmt, last I saw people don't buy just 1 gil.

Yeah, seriously. I haven't bothered making gil seriously since shortly after Desynth was introduced, and I'm still sitting on 30mil+ after buying an L mansion for myself. /shamelessepeenswing
