If their are going to be new mentor requirements can you let us know please SE?

I dont keep up with all the patch notes and things of that nature are read all the live letters etc. But I do have a request SE if you could please let us know what the new mentor requirements will be assuming that with another expansion out the way they would be increased.

I hope that you can tell those whom want to continue being mentors to new players so that they can keep and maintain their status. Again this is just an assumption that they will change, but Id be surprised if they didn't, so please if you could will you let the player base know so that we can start preparing ourselves.

The mentor system was, largely, already a failure. There is no metric they can automate that actually determines a "Mentor's" competence level or willingness to teach or inform. The best they can do is just let just about anyone who wants to be one, be one (IE, what the current system does) and just hope the good eggs outnumber the bad.

I def would have to say its server based , when I started playing I created three characters on three different servers. And the one with the best nn was the one Ive played my main on , because they pretty much helped the whole journey through Arr. We have some really great mentors on my server, I mean its always gona be idle talk, but anytime someone new needs help their is always somewhere there with an informative response on exodus. The others I was on was pretty decent as well , but I didnt stay on long enough enough to see how they played out overall I dont think its a really bad feature tho.

I'm assuming requirements will jump up 10 levels, doesn't make sense to be a mentor if you're missing 10 levels of progression of those roles/jobs.

So would that just temp shut down the whole system are would they have different levels for it. Unless you bum rushed the story in a day are two then nobody would be level 70 right off the bat. I have know idea how they are gona make it work and having no mentors at all even for a lil while wouldnt be a good idea imo even for a short period of time.

I would assume that the new requirements would be added in 4.1 to give people some time to get 1 of each leveled.

Having no mentors isn't really bad... especially since the majority are only in it for the mount then switch it off.

If they do update the requirements (which I kind of have doubts they will), I'm pretty sure anyone who is already a mentor will get "grandfathered" in, specifically to avoid this exact situation.

It'll probably be the same stuff except it will be lvl70 roles instead of 60 for new mentors. They might not even care and just grandfather current mentors and let them keep it.

I am guessing those who are mentors now will remain mentors, I don't see them taking the mentor away from everyone who has earned it and having no mentors while everyone levels again.

The new requirements will most likely be for anyone who isn't already a mentor to become one.
