I just got out of an instance and was getting ready to que again when I noticed I was in a party yet there were no party members.
Used the Cross world PF to form it. When I zoned to see if it would fix it I was kicked out. And have been out.
Its likely the instance servers again. I'm still logged in, but I havent tried zoning.
Aha, Faerie [Aether] is down!... ¬_¬
I'm still logged in but I cant que for Dun Scaith. Every time I que for the dungeon it doesn't give me an estimated time, then drops a min or two later.
Can't log in to Mateus
Hope they pinpoint what's causing this crap only on Aether (maybe Primal once?). It's been happening since 3.5 and requires? emergency maintenance to restore, which is dumb.
Probably from everyone and their mother moving to Gilgamesh and Balmung because thats where everyone tells people to go.
No one cares about Gilgamesh with cross-server party finder existing now.
More likely the hamsters in charge of copying character data from zone to zone expired and need a Heimlich. Still this is what, the 4th time since 3.5? Getting old.
No, the cross server party finder is still new. All the people who were on greg before they added it and unsubbed, and all the people on balmung who were unsubbed who came back.
And considering the problems only started since 3.5, or during 2.0 and 3.0 launch, on mostly aether, I'd say Balmung and Greg have a pretty big part of the issue here.
I prefer to think the servers are run by Mooses and Maple syrup they are in Canada.
Gilgamesh and Balmung get screwed over by the cross server system. They expect those servers to help fill out the dead servers. So they don't have to shutter them like the Korean ones. Yet those servers get no benefit from helping those servers. "Oh but they get to play with people from other servers." Those two servers have enough population they could be their own cross server group.
