mentor status

Hello i could not find anything on this so as a last resort i am posting here, recently i decided to try becoming a mentor as i often find myself helping anyone in general if they need help i am just that kind of person so i tryied to get the mentor status only to recieve the message "unable to accept mentor status at this time", i have all the pre stuff i double checked everything the only thing i can think that is stopping me is the reason i made this post to get a confirmation i recently got a formal warning from square enix for something even i am not sure what it was for as i checked the email and its very vague about why i got formal warning to begin with so can anyone confirm if the formal warning is preventing me from becoming a mentor and if not what could possibly be preventing me to help a freind and many others who just started playing?.

A formal warning shouldn't stop you becoming a mentor. I had a 10 day ban from the forums (let's just say something pushed me over the edge and I used an IRL Limit Break). I was still able to become a mentor.

make sure you have a tank/dd/healer at lv60 and also completed lv60 job quest for them, not just being lv60.

Do you have 300 commendations and have completed 1000 instanced dungeons?

yes i have 1000+ commendations. 5000+ dungeons and two tanks two healers three dps at level sixty but i still cannot become a mentor it keeps saying unable to accept at this time in red font and before someone says check player search there in no mentor option there i honestly think its because of the formal warning, also i forgot to mention i became a mentor a few days before i got the formal warning and after a day or two stopped being a mentor as i was unsure if i was really suited to be one and did not think this would matter and i could become a mentor again to play with my freind when he came back from holiday and decided that this time i would stay as a mentor full time to help people full time

Then its likely the ability to become a mentor was revoked, especially depending on the subject of your warning.

Have you actually done the level 60 job quests? it's actually the achievements from doing those you need, not specifically getting healer/tank/dps to 60.

Of course i have all the job quests done, i am not an idiot i have all the requirments as i have explained in my previous posts the smith goes to the screen were you tick the box to become a mentor but after i tick accept terms and become mentor i get the red message unable to accept mentor certification at this time in red text, i have 5000 instanced dungeons done 1000+ commendations level 60 paladin warrior scholar white mage black mage summoner and bard which all the job quests done that give the titles such as the white mage one "pure white", i think Valkyrie_Lenneth is correct and because of the formal warning i cannot become a mentor oh well if becoming a mentor means i should never be myself then ill never be one.

You probably got your mentor status stripped!

Possible that you got the mentor status revoked and must wait a month before you can become a mentor again.

Or Its possible the formal warning flagged your account so that you must wait a month before being eligible to become a mentor.
