I'm hoping they'll update the servers and infrastructure with 5.0. I cannot imagine it'll happen with 4.0, and even 5.0 may be optimistic.

The servers don't really need an update though. The game is coded for a certain number of players, and more than that breaks the coding. Thats why Aether has stability issues, not server hardware. They could throw the most expensive hardware that exists at our servers and it wouldnt do anything if they didnt update the code to allow for it.

On the other hand, it would be nice to have some updates to the way the games systems interact, like the ability to add housing wards to the servers that need them without having to add them to the entire datacenter.

I mentioned booties once and that's cause I know its something a lot of people want. there is a lot more here than just butt sliders its an over all just a thread suggesting things that could add to the over all experience of the game

This isn't a problem for any other MMO where they actually get meaningful proportion options, so why is it that SE is the only company who can't handle it?

"Gear" can simply be automatically deformed and stretched over the character models' dimensions, with the only adjustment needed being a couple textures here and there clipped. It sounds to me like the players making up problems that don't exist to excuse the devs' laziness.
