Please make paintings more colorful.

Most of new paintings are so unappealing because of sepia/desaturated colors.

So instead of blue mountains of Snowcloack we got this


And instead of green forest of Urths Gift we got this


Some pictures like Seedbed are a complete mess


There are like only 10 pictures I'd seriously consider putting on my wall, and the rest are not very attractive at all.

It seems wrong to me that the ones you work hardest to get (those unlocked by the ARR Sightseeing Log) are visually the least appealing. Some of them are so dark you can't really see what they are and the reddish sepia tone renders everything dull and washed out. Most of the sightseeing log paintings don't do any justice to the scenes they depict.

Also, would love to have the option to upload my wedding picture for a portrait. Not like it's our special day or anything, not worth Unending Journey recording...
Sarcasm aside, and it would belong to another thread about "why can't we have at least a small version of our wedding video in the Unending Journey?", at least let us have our wedding portrait within the painting options ;_;

To still answer that questiion: The Unending Journey doesnt record anything, its just placing your character - and ONLY your character - in that cutscene again. The wedding would look very sad with only you getting married to no one and with no guests... so thats why its not in it, there is basically no point (and like actually saving it for every character would take up waaaay to much spaces - right now the game only has to check if you can watch that cutscene or not and then play it, so for your character its basically only "unlocked/not unlocked" that has to be saved)

I made about 15 Grade 2 Picture Frames and put a few up for sale. They weren't priced that high, but they weren't selling. I previewed the available pictures for them and then understood. The pictures are so ugly no one wants them.

I was very disappointed when I saw that the Sightseeing Log paintings were uglier than the standard ones.

Agree with OP. These pictures need more vibrant colors, or even just their natural colors should've been standard.

Have to agree with op here.

I much prefer vibrant and realistic representations if possible one day, including framing our own personal screenshots please!!! (which would be my personal preference)

To still answer that questiion: (important information)

What question are you answering? I know it doesn't record anything and that it's about default cutscenes that are replaying with your current character in them. Also I understand why we don't have the full video of our wedding since we need all our other friends in it. I mentioned sarcasm, and I probably used the word "recording" wrongly. Still, was being sarcastic and comparing to real life stating it is indeed an important day in our lives and therefore deserving a little bit more than a cake, like um... a portrait maybe? Or! A SMALL section of the wedding cutscene, like the part where we are floating to kiss! And again, this would belong to another thread since this one is about portraits.
But yeah, thank you I guess for your... answer?
