I feel like such a crazy person right now, because I have this memory of thinking it was a cute/funny thing for it to have. Maybe I'm misremembering something from another game? Could be when you summon Beast in Kingdom Hearts, and he does a meteor attack. I dunno. Regardless, I think it would be cool if FFXIV did this.

Mmmmmaaaaaybe you saw someone use an item from last year's rising event? There's an item that has a meteor come down and explode before transforming into the ARR symbol.

There are always different teams working on different things, and while ofc cost and manpower are limited, it does not have to be one or the other. We can get new emotes AND mount movements if enough people highly care about that.

I'd personally really like idle motions for both players and mounts.
One of the reasons why I like going back to lala time and again is their movement when sitting. Not just like a mannequin, but softly lean here and there, or wiggle their legs when sitting on a chair, stuff like that

Since I'm greedy, I'd also like all the mount skills to become available for usage in the overworld, especially all the beastmen and seasonal mounts.
