I hate how you can't pick and choose which piece of gear overrides another. For example, if your top gets anywhere remotely close to your waist, it removes the loincloth part of the mother effing eastern loincloth. If your gloves are too long, they override the sleeves on your top. If your gloves are too short, the sleeves on the top override the gloves. Same thing with legs and feet. Sometimes hair will badly clip thru head gear. Sometimes head gear with alter your hairstyle when you don't want it to.
Occasionally, for no discernible reason, those rules do not apply and things that you would expect to override another piece of gear will actually do the opposite.

I hate when i have pants that i like and try in use a pair if shoes, not boots of any kind, simple shoes, and some shoes clip the pants looking like i tucked them inside the shoe and some go under the pants, like i want. That is really annoying. ARGH!
I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

I die a little on the inside every time i see the justin beiber of glamour (high allagan coat of fending or healing). Double so if it's a blonde hyur white mage, triple so if it is a male au ra dark knight with Snow's hair.
Wait what?

Barefoot when?

I always took them to be leggings, which don't cover feet. I think you're thinking of tights (heavier material, usually opaque or fishnet, that cover feet and worn up to the waist). Especially since all of the leg covering options in FFXIV lack the transparency that would make them stockings. The closest item that looks like actual stockings or pantyhose, to me, are the i55 Alchemist's Trousers or the bunny legs. They, too, lack transparency to really call them stockings.
With that, my pet peeve is actual lack of stockings.![]()

Oh, my other pet peeve is the fact 95+% of the leg gear in this game rides so high. Like instead of sitting at your actual waist, they come up to directly right under your belly button. Obviously, it's not uncommon irl, but here in FFXIV, they take it to such an extreme to the point I'm always shocked when I run across gear that sits at my waist.

My pet peeve is that you cannot apply more then one glamour to a single piece worn by two jobs. For example, I take the Sire chest piece and glam it to Creed for when my PLD wears it and Chaos for when my DRK wears it. That would be so wonderful.
Leggings typically go much higher up than stockings do, often to the waist, like tights. The items in question on skirts such as the patricians skirt (which was captured in my photo), bridesmaid tights, etc are definitely closer to opaque stockings (which very much do exist) in appearance than they are to tights or leggings due to the fact that they end far below the waist, despite the name on the latter. Tights would be more like what's with the level 50 alchemy crafter skirt.
Regardless of the semantics, the glamour choice looks incredibly tacky. Something like cotton tights (which actually are more like leggings) with closed toe pumps may look decent, but we do not have any unfortunately.
