Question to those who have had their house reclaimed....

So I was given my personal FC from my bf that had a house on it when he quit. Now I would like to move to a new house but I don't really want to just abandon my house so I am willing to wait the 45 days. Has anyone actually done this with a FC attached? Will the FC leader get the gil for the house? Its all me and my alts in the company so no issues there just need to know how it happens.

Do I need to pick it up from some npc or is it moogled to the leader or spread among the members?

The house is already cleaned out and waiting to demo.

I also owned a house (medium) that was a free company house. The company is just me and my alternate characters.

I purposefully waited 45 days for it to become demolished because I wanted gil for it, since "selling" became "illegal."

I got like 12,800,000 gil or something like that.

I picked it up, as the free company leader, from the NPC named "Resident Caretaker" i believe.

I cannot remember how much I spent on the house. Maybe 15 million? 18 million? I thought i spent more, but i guess not since i only got 12 million back.

Oh, make sure you pull the airship components out if you have an airship.

If i'm not mistaken (as I believe thats whats being said in the official post about house demolition) that the airship will be destroyed.

I simply pulled the airship parts out of the company, put it on my alternate, then let the house get demolished. This way, if i ever get another house, I can have the parts ready to go.
