That is a break even, which is what you are saying, you move up 10 points relative to the other team with the kill. But that is 5 points for damage to ice your team gets, that the other team does not, so also Net 10.

But the damage scales better on ice then you need to kill someone. If I get a Zerk double fell with full swing up, so 6 gcd's (building stacks), I do around 11-12 points of damage on small ice. for a net swing of 22-24 points. Those same gcds would also generally be the min needed to get a kill, and ice can't be healed.
