Sohm Al Hard - a small question

Is there anything I'm supposed to do when the The Leightonward uses Excretion? At first I thought it was just your usual "healer cleanse" mechanic but I've yet to have a healer attempt to cleanse this off me. So that implies that maybe there's something I'm missing here as a dps? I mean... I'm tempted to call out healers on this, but I'm actually open to the possibility that I'm not doing something I'm supposed to so I'm asking now.

For what it's worth, I can strangely get by just fine by sprinting when the big plants spawn afterward.

It's not required because people tend to move safely away from the aoes before they even appear. I cleanse the melee so they can maneuver for positionals.

Are you talking about the thing that leaves a Heavy effect on you?

Please healers... cleanse that. Honestly there's zero reason not to and it makes everything better.

Honestly I wish that heavy at least did some DoT damage so I felt like my Esuna was worth using. Nonetheless I always cleanse the heavy since there's no reason not to.

I concur on the DoT concept, at least make it interesting!
I normally chuckle at the player and say they got vomited on before leeching it off.

Healers are supposed to cleanse it. They should be cleansing or trying to cleanse any debuff they notice, in general. You can let them know "need esuna/leeches/exalted detriment pls" and maybe an "fyi that can be cleansed "

It can be and is supposed to be cleansed. As a monk I get sad whenever it stays on. I need muh positionuhls.

I'm still waiting for the QoL that makes it obvious which debuffs can and cannot be cleansed. Making ones cleanseable have a special highlight would be such an easy thing to do.

Heavy can be annoying for well....just about everyone. It literally takes only a second to cleanse it so there's no reason not to. I get rid of it as soon as I see it.

Thanks for the responses, everyone. I'm actually seeing this cleansed more often now after running Expert now. Not sure if this thread had anything to do with it or that I've had more runs to observe healers.

Regardless, I'm encouraging for this to be cleansed, but I'd like to remind tanks/dps not to get snippy about it.
