I have attempted to contact a company that holds my money but has not given me my product with no response. Assistance requests, refund requests, cancellation requests - all ignored.

You cannot honestly believe that they are in the right. Would you have me simply walk away and allow them to keep my cash? If you are so unreasonable, I cannot continue taking you seriously.

A previous company I took down was a binary option company. A handful of my followers and one of my clients stated that the company would not provide payouts of their deposits. The case was won in our favor because the money that you give to a company belongs to you until the product that you paid for is in your hands. Physical possession is meaningless here. The transaction has not been completed. If a store employee takes your $100 for a pair of jeans and walks away, that $100 is still yours until the jeans are in your possession. You might feel otherwise, but this is the law. This is a law in place to protect the consumer that SE is ignoring. They are the ones walking a dangerous path, as eventually enough consumers will become angry enough to act, as in the case of the binary options company.
