Mostly at RF in my server already put macro likeWait, this is actually a thing on NA servers? I thought people were joking. The Soar mechanic is almost trivial. It requires the most basic communication with a simple macro to coordinate around them. I play with JP players and don't speak a word of Japanese and still manage.
...........MT/ST
D1.......................D2
D3.......................D4
..........Healer
And done, nobody messed up at Soars

Best: Dun Scaith
Worst: the communities attitude to Zurvan EX and their compulsive need to demand high dps from other players to hide the fact that they themselves have low dps and a poor understanding of mechanics.

The Good
Garo revitalizing PvP
Dun Scaith
MSQ (Albeit too short)
The Bad
Paintings retaining the odd rust tone from the Sightseeing log
The conclusion to the Warring Triad saga
Zurvan (both versions)
The Ugly
The community's response to Zurvan EX
Chat removal from The Feast
Dungeons fall under a "meh" category. An improvement from 3.4 to some degree, but neither were memorable. I did thoroughly enjoy the final boss of Baelsar's Wall. Granted, my opinion may change when I run it more. Haven't queued for Expert roulette since the patch dropped.

Best: Garo PVP event, Dun Scaith, MSQ, ability to dye on the Fitting Room; Baelsar's Wall (it's just a dungeon but the FFVI nostalgia got me).
Worst: Cross server PF and Zurvan. It completely ruined RF.

Huehue people acting like pissy people in party finder is a new thing because of Zurvan.

Best: PVP event and various QoL improvements
Worst: new dungeons including Dun Scaith. The thought of having to having to run any of them fills me with pure sadness. I personally just find them all so...meh. I will say that I think the fact Dun Scaith immediately starts with a boss that is essentially nothing but a bunch of insta-KO mechanics is an awesome (and hilarious) idea, but after that, I just mentally check out.

Worst:- ALL things Party Finder.
Zurvan ex especially. it is not hard. I've never skipped soar at the start usually always get one. but it's not hard. I've been to under 5% a few times at which point people seem to think "we got this" and go totally tunnel visioned. some of those were raid finder groups as well. but every other group I join pf or raid finder can barely get past the adds.
Now I said ALL things party finder. because in general I've had very little luck in party finder at all the last week or so.. I hate the term "clear party" because most people don't have a damn clue what that should actually mean... the 3 successful parties ive been in this week have all be "leaning" parties.
a seph ex learning party that was described as. "been upto adds" cleared the boss on the 3rd attempt. (again learning party)
a soph ex learning party that was described as "phase 3 practice" cleared on the 4th attempt.
and another soph ex learning party that cleared it with 2 minutes to spare and most of them hadn't even set foot in there before that run.
and yet every single "clear party" I join struggles to get past the first phase. regardless of what it's a clear party for, nid seph soph zurv every single one fails...
Best thing:- all those extra items for red scrips. can cap em in half hour now XD. makes getting sands for relic much faster
