Double healer balance.

So why is WHM+WHM or SCH+SCH so horribly balanced compared to the rest?

Also SCH is lacking tools when it comes to cross party healing, as using aetherflow stacks hurts to much, so I have to do so in always thinking, does saving this one person put my party in danger?

WHM+WHM, or SCH+SCH do not complement each other well like the other combinations because they lack too many tools the other combinations make up. PvP is not the same as PvP and outside high end raids I know it is non issue.

AST + AST isnt as good as WHM + SCH though. So really none of the healers are optimal in terms of doubling up.

its leagues better then whm + whm or SCH+SCH though. My friend really hates healing as a whm with another whm and trying to level other jobs to get around it ><

I heal mainly, I would not know. I titled this healer balance because that is what I know. I find it hard to play to the point I really do not want to do it when paired with another sch, and my friend is even more drastic with double whm, going to DPS and refusing to play healer seeing it. We never seen tanks have such reactions by asking others to change job if they can, so on.

The only thing I know about tanks is PLD stun spam is op

I am main SCH and tbh I don't see a big problem healing with another SCH. And I don't understand why it should be such a big deal going with 2 WHM as well.
Double Regen and both can stay in CS for almost forever. ^^
Same goes for double Eos. Double HoTs, one Fairy healing pushed and there you go with 2 SCH in CS and double DoT power.

If your friend is that strict with WHMxWHM pairings, maybe it's just her own business and she is the main problem? :x Sorry, I don't want to be rude, but it seems to be a personal issue, not a community wide one. :/

But to say: I barely go with double heal in PVP anyways. As soon as they see me being SCH, other healers in my group switch to DPS anyways. o.o

I think cleric stance is disabled in pvp. Also I don't think 2 white mage regens stack in pvp.

single healer in pt, or a single healer for each pt, meaning 3 total for 24 people does not work and always in a loss

even with purify, if you are forced by 3-10 people chainstuning and binding you, you will die solo.

WHM is helpful when you need heavy aoe healing, I like to see a solo sch keep up with aoe binds and double caster lbs, though the magic defense ability does help, it is the follow up damage you need to out heal along with recovering everyone's hp 50-75%
