I'm sure this isn't the first time it's been brought up, and I'm sure I'm not the only one having the issue. I currently live in Southern California and the latency issues that I, and my FC face seem to be pretty bad. My ping is normally around 600-800 and when we're doing things like raiding, you have to over compensate so much for the latency that it gets in the way of the design of the encounter. I can't count the numerous times where I've been no where near an AOE and got hit anyway.
I know some people will say it could be system or internet related, but here are my specs:
Intel 6700K @ 4.8gHz
32GB DDR4 3200mhz
ASUS GTX 1080 OC'd
Internet is below as well, but in a nutshell it's 900+ MB/s down and 700+ MB/s up

So, all that being said. Any idea if Square is planning on it, or if they've given a good reason why they don't offer closer data centers for their players throughout the US and other parts of the world?
