I agree with the title of your thread. But I think you give bad examples that don't fully support your point. Buying clears takes a lot of gil. I mean a lot of gil. This isn't the type of gil where you can do leves, dailies, and challenge log for a week and then send a tell to your server's raid FC asking to buy a clear. It takes a lot of time and effort to accumulate that amount of money. You sound as if someone who worked hard at becoming a server tycoon isn't a skilled player in some way and doesn't deserve a desired item that they can pay for.

As for titles and synced content that becomes outdated, there are reasons for it. It gives incentive to go work on outdated content and experience everything the game has to offer. Sure, you get the rewards eventually but they are vastly outdated. Look at it in a real life perspective. People who own the newest gadgets or toys get to experience everything new first hand and are the front-runners. They are the first to get everything and are constantly on the move for the next big thing. They are "hip"(sters :P) if you wanna call it that. Eventually, all older or dated things experience a price drop for the "less hip" people to experience. Video games, phones, gadgets, cars, you name it.

but thanks for the flimsy example? I guess? the issue with the hellhound mount wasnt the fact it was limited- its the fact it was limited to a select few at the top. it wasnt rewarded for participation, it was rewarded for beating other people. Seriously, if this were the case, the GARO mounts would be unpopular and people would be outraged. Timed exclusives arent the same as actual competition rewards.

It was a mount that, realistically, a newbie into pvp, no matter how interested, just wouldn't be experienced, geared, or simply prepared enough to achieve before it was already gone. and that's before we discuss the issues with the feast ladder. "Some pvp" would not have been enough- in order to beat out the actual veteran pvpers, they would have to play much, much more games to match their placings.

I mean its not like winning is a requirement for the actual mounts people are currently after or anything... the only reason people are AFKing for loss marks is because they dont even have the Marks for the GARO gear to begin with... plus its a reportable offense. might want to try filling some of those out sometimes.

In both cases a person can do something that you cannot. In both cases you would like what is produced by doing that thing. In both cases you are paying them to do that that thing and give them the output.

All I can do is just simple say sure, if people want the easy route they already get it but I will not go to that level if I cant have are complete a piece of content then I just cant and as an adult that doesnt have to have things that I didnt work for thats fine with me.

But just like someone else posted entitlement is a thing the video posted was a perfect example, and its clear as day that its a thing in this game and thats fine. Like I said with the way things are and how unsync is they really should start selling more things in mog station so I can buy stuff from there instead of even doing stuff unsync. It would be alot more convenient and next post I will just ask for better things in the mogstation and hope that the devs hear my plea. And also ask them to instead of putting the birds and horses in the extreme primals to please just start puttin them in Sastasha normal and tama tara , I just couldnt be bothered farming them in an extreme sense.

Also while Im at it I would like the mentor mount and anima weapon when I get to brayflax so I dont have to be bothered with doing those either ,because it would just be to big of a strain for me to do such a thing. And to please cut back all the quest on the beast tribes so I can get the mounts on my very first turn in. And I would also like for them up the exp for crafting so I can craft one item and instantly become level 60. And ask them to place all items in the game into my inventory for me,so that I dont have to go out and gatherer them myself cause thats an extreme waste of time. I deserve every item in my gathering log because I want it, and I want to be able to hq items just from one sync. We really need these changes in the game so that I dont have to lift a finger to do anything and everything can just be given to me because I want it.
