    PvP Idea's

    Well we know Version 2.0 will be here next year, and we also know PvP will be there. I hope SE add varied versions of pvp type matches.

    Team Death Match

    As the name says it will be an team vs team match type style of pvp, first team to x amount of kills wins.


    Capture the flag

    This one explains it's self as well, two Teams go out and try to capture each other flags and bring it back to their base safely. First team to capture an flag 3 times is the winner.


    Point control
    3 Crystals spawn on map and each team that has an crystal under control gets 1 point per 3 secs. which ever team reaches the X amount of points is the winner.


    Treasure Thief
    This one each team has 5 chest that spawn at their base, 3/5 of the chest are mimics. Each team also has 2 players random spawn with keys on both teams they must defend, if the key holder is killed, the person who landed the final blow will be rewarded with the key to try to open an opposing enemy chest. If an mimic kills an player the key will drop to the ground allowing anyone to get it. First team to open 2 chest will win.(hope i explained that well enough >.>)



    Tower Defense
    Two teams have control of an tower, both teams objections are to destroy each others towers with BOMBS(the monsters). Only one bomb may be escorted by a team at once and cannot obtain another until the current bomb reaches the tower and explodes. If your bomb is destroyed while escorting it you will have to return to base and obtain another one. (Escorting the bombs will work similar to the summer event except wont have to do emotes to keep it moving and you can stop it at will at anytime, also can buff and cure the bomb.)

    Protect the leader
    Two teams will fight it out to kill the opposing teams captain and defend their own captain. First team to kill an captain wins the round first team to win 3 rounds is the winner.


    Free for All
    This one is self explanatory.

    1vs1
    This one is self explanatory as well.


    Any other idea's you have for the future of PvP please share them, and tell me what you think of these modes for PvP.

    i think the idea of ballista and Brenner in XI the best suited PvP for this game
    but sure why not? its good to have some change but it will be a while because soe Classes are unbalanced atm "slightly"

    All great ideas but I dont think they will do it like this, i think it will be very much like XI where you enter and zone and go nuts on each other. Would be epic though.

    Or just a dual option.

    While Yoshi says he loves PVP, i guarantee a lot of XIV player base don't.

    Not saying you're right or wrong, but going off of the PDF's it explicitly states "After" not "at", "during", or "on" release.
    You may or may not be literal in your statement, but everyone keeps thinking 2.0 is going to bring EVERYTHING into the game once it's released (or seems that way).


    In relevance to the topic, this is what it says:

    I like all your suggestions & really hope SE can be this diverse during implementation. As long as PvP doesn't "take over" the community & doesn't break game balance then i can't wait to see what they come up with. Should be fun.

    A big copy of the world that anyone from anyone world can tele to by do like 10 hours minimum of a quest then is alowed, exact copy if the world but open world pvp, and a player limit of like 100,000.

    Didnt notice it said "ranking", sounds like a Aion type system but that has been a complete disaster and now hardly anyone PVPs. Hope SE dont make this mistake.
