For the 260-270 step you can spend GC seals, lore, or even poetics to get the 15 items. All those A1S books can help you get items which turn-in for just over 1k seals each, and if you are actually lotting the junk that helps.

I think it's more about the i260 step, with the (at worst) 24000 lore requirement, which is really really long and boring.

Umbrite is playing content, or ARF like a wet seal. Taking new people for 100 lore bonuses through content. Like Alexander NM or Savage floors.
