    Raiders will always hate regardless because weapons become obsolete later on and can't change stats onit. Relics people will just complain, not all, about grinds...man I don't envy Yoshi on his job but he has done a great job so far. Common sense is dead in this world lets stop the bickering and agree we all have our perspectives. But Relics are consider Relics for a reason. Raid weps are pre set for a reason. How can anyone compare something that has steps to be alter/restore with some kind of history to a wep that is found in a dungeon. I give up /em rage quit thread

    Yeah, I think it's just more of a mistake on their part with Parry stat on the Alex DRK Surfboard sword. Considering they are re-working parry in 4.0, won't be much of an issue next time. Yet, you have practically perfect Alex weapons like the Cane, knives, and Axe.

    If only the raid weapon was like a +10 ilvl difference instead of +5 from the tome or anima weapon, the secondaries being not-optimal would be moot compared to the weapon damage gain.

    Believe it or not, most raiders don't even do the relic stuff. If you are always working towards completing end-game raids early-on or top of the server in-clears you'll likely always have the highest ilvl weapon each tier within 1-2 months.

    These weps should be for glam and/or at least 30ilvls lower than the current BiS weps in the game. You literally do nothing of skill to achieve exactly what those who bust their ass actually learning and mastering the game achieve.
    Make these things glam only or reduce their ilvl and stats because its outrageous and insulting.
    This needs to stop.
    You know savage raiders such as myself benefit from this right?, I will get a 275 weapon with my own stats that's awesome.

    I think a relic weapon should absolutely be powerful, but instead of casual grinds they should be awarded for clearing all the content in the game (on the job it's being awarded for). I'd like them to be more rare and epic, something to be an ultimate goal in this game.

    No, this is a dumb idea.

    Reasons, the expansion comes out on June 21st with early access four to five days prior. By June 21st, there's gonna be the same song and dance from when Heavensward was released. People crying about how crafted gear that will given out through quest was better than their relic/savage weapon. Even before you hit level cap. So at this point what does it matter...

    See, I would have agreed with you before during ARR as the weapons we built were supposed to be legendaries their own right. But since doing the Anima I don't mind so much now, and would be great if they can just keep the story of the weapon and the Anima rolling. I like the idea of the Anima being the weapon that could always be by your side, even if not always as strong as weapons of primals or ancients. It could be a really deep well for lore and character development. I'd trade that for being the most powerful.
