Just curious...what % of players that have an a12s clear do you think actually purchased their 275 soul of creator savage wep?Still trying to figure out how a weapon someone can purchase from people selling clears is somehow "more showcasing of your ability" than a relic you put countless hours into. Oh well.
I also think its funny the person complaining has their achievements hidden. Oh well \o/

Probably higher than you think, since there's sell adverts all the time in PF. They wouldn't be there if there wasn't a market. I'd say 10-15% is likely.

I think you're not qualified to comment on which would bring you more accomplishment if you haven't even completed one of the activities in question. Just my two cents.I feel more accomplished with the relic weapon than I would with the Alex Savage weapon (though I haven't even touched Alex savage because I'm more on the casual side) because of the time I spent putting into it. I really think it's as simple as that. I built my anima to my liking and spent time on it, and it's pretty powerful. That's all I need to see it as worthwhile.
I don't mean that to be offensive, nor do I even necessarily agree with the OP. I just think that you shouldn't make a statement about which weapon would give you greater gratification when you haven't even earned one of the ones being discussed here. Same thing with the guy and his "raiding buddies" - does it matter that that it took less time to down AS12, when the skill floor is CONSIDERABLY higher, beyond a doubt? Yes, people can buy clears. Incidentally, people could buy their way through the materia step, or also buy bot programs to bot parts of the relic step. Neither claim holds much merit over the other.
I think that for the people who raid, not being able to customize their raid weapon really is a kick in the teeth, given the effort they put in. Top-end players will put in time for the thankless, boring relic grind just for that extra 1% efficiency, and I don't think that's fair. If the devs are going to continually balk at making the relic questline challenging, they should at least offer a customizable weapon alternative for those skilled enough to complete the hardest content in the game.

So the Relic should be nerfed, according to TC, and now all raiders should have something that is specific to the Relic only? So can I then request that they take mounts out of the savage too, and place them also into normal? I mean, fair is fair.
Yeah I disagree. Your months of having a better weapon period should be enough.

I don't actually agree with the OP. I do, however, think that both raid weapons and relic weapons should have customizable stats so they can both be BiS. I'd also like to see the relic questline made more engaging - not necessarily harder, but definitely more interesting. It's okay if it takes time, but I think the current iterations of it have been thanklessly boring. YMMV, but that's my input. So the Relic should be nerfed, according to TC, and now all raiders should have something that is specific to the Relic only? I could agree to that happening as long as they made the stat allocation and readjustments just as annoying for raiders, as it was to grind that out in the last few steps for Relic players. Wasn't sure if you just meant giving you the ability to do it freely.I don't actually agree with the OP. step 1: get a unfinished raid weapon
step 2: bring it to Gerolt
step 3: gather dozen of rare stuff
should be ready 2 weeks before the next raid come ingame
