    PvE raise issue

I have a few different ideas, I do not care what is done, but something needs to be done, pick one please
    1. BAN PvE raise from PvP
    2. Make different notice for PvE raise in PvP, this can inclue color, how long the raise effect lasts, just something.

    - also stop letting PvE raise override PvP raise.

Might be other solutions I am not thinking of but ya, I am tried of people not taking my PvP raise because they do not know it is a PvP raise.

BAN is a pretty harsh word, especially in all caps lol. You make it sound like people should get in trouble for using it. But yeah, there are situations that justify its use for sure but 99/100 times its because someone doesn't know Divine Breath exists or underestimates how bad the debuff is.

There really aught to be some sort of introduction or tutorial for pvp x_x things like this, ilvl sync, morale, materia, how purify could be used for others, how defense and by extension protection doesnt apply in pvp (its soooo common in feast to see healers hard casting protect in combat. I'm sure it's caused more than a few lost matches) etc. There are so many little nuances to PvP as a unique game mode that just aren't presented to players in any sort of accessible manner.

A workaround, sort of, for raise vs DB, is creating an extra chat tab and ticking off "actions used on me" in it's settings. That way you can at least look at that when someone casts raise on you and tell if it's the PvP or PvE kind. Another nice chat filter, btw, is "others battle messages" and "own battle messages", under announcements. This will tell you give you a message saying "player_name1 is defeated by player_name2" whenever someone dies

I agree completely and part of the reason for "BAN" has to do with the chat frustrations along with people overriding my DIVINE BREATH!!! UGH, had no idea that was even a thing. But I said it is just one idea to do with it, of course I prefer number 2 to be the change.

    PvE raise > 15 sec
    PvP > 8 sec
    you know what it is

    or
    different color icon

or different message when raise is put on you.

There is lots of ways of making that transparent. i think the easiest is changing the color though.
divine breath = red, or matches your GC, whatever, just as long it is not blue and white.

Yeah, having it overridden is def obnoxious especially if you bothered to put trait points into it. Another way to sort of tell is by looking at the healers MP. Divine breath is free. Swiftcast+Raise/ascend/res cost about 1/4 of the healers mp (another reason not to use it... lol). It's not really a surefire way to tell but if the caster is still at >3/4 mp chances are it was PvP raise.

Not saying it shouldnt be fixed. Its absurd on SE's part that there's no obvious indication

alliance list don't let you see mp cost and you don't know if someone used divine breath on you while another did the raise from another party. I seen cross casting in good frontline parties where others i feel like I'm healing the full alliance -.- I even tried looking for swiftcast notice and i got weakened while going wtf where that swiftcast come from????????

But they can simply color the raise to be different, you know the buff icon color? just change that, all ya need
