Difference being you can get lapis in game, there was absolutely no in game way to get the job cards except buy magicite (you couldn't save up 12k magicite in game you HAD to buy it and then they'd send you the job card). Record keeper and brave exvius have done no shady tactics like that since their release. So no you can't make the same claim.

It's obvious from your OP that you play the JP version where they did it through draws and you can earn magicite by playing, but in the global version this is not the case. £50 or no job card for you.

I play globle, Onion Knight alone can unlock 4 of the Basic Classes, Warrior, Knight, Dark Knight and Dragoon. I got the Advance forms of Dark Knight from a few FREE summon tokens and a few FREE magicite from the distiller that fills daily, 100 magicite a day, which isn't even a must to play for the story if you keep up with leveling your Ability cards.

I'm talking about the ninja, sage, ace striker and mythic knight job cards that were limited time and only available if you paid £50 with no other option to get them except that paid £50. These are cheap tactics to pressure people into buying magicite and I will not support a game that uses them.

If you don't understand what I'm talking about then either you literally just started playing a few weeks ago, or you're the one who is quite oblivious to the things in the game.

If you want to agree to disagree fine, but yes I'd rather play the odds to get a unit/soul break free that is permanently added to the game and if I so choose, pay for more chances, than pay the *SAME PRICE AS A PS4 GAME* for a job card with no way to earn it in game and is only available for a limited time.

But any cross over event items with ffxiv and mobius should be straight to cash shop and only available during the event with only the story being in game so that the promotion shows accurately what kind of game mobius is.

Looks like they heard you. Mobius is adding the legend job cards permanently as a random extra drop from the ability card summon now, cloud job got put there and now the tidus job is making a come back.

On topic, steam version just released which would have been the perfect time and there was no collab so it's probably not gonna happen. The problem with the mobile games collabing with ffxiv is that the JP version is 6 months ahead of the global version so events get released there first then come to global 6 months later. So JP would get a collab with ffxiv then 6 months after the collab ends in ffxiv global would get it.
